Born with an insatiable curiosity and a palate eager for adventure, my journey into the world of culinary arts began at a young age. Growing up in the vibrant culinary landscape of Sri Lanka and being fed by the most delicious cuisine of my family and the Island, I was surrounded by diverse flavours of fresh produce that ignited my passion for cooking.

Embarking on my culinary career, I honed my skills through years of hard work and dedication. Starting as a kitchen apprentice, I absorbed knowledge like a sponge, learning the intricacies of food preparation and the art of flavour pairing. With each step of the way, I embraced new challenges and opportunities, steadily climbing the ranks to become an accomplished executive chef.

Fuelled by the desire to explore culinary world, I embarked on adventures that took me across continents. From the bustling streets of the Middle East to the sun-drenched shores of Greece, and the lush landscapes of Sri Lanka, I immersed myself in diverse cultures and cuisines, each experience shaping my culinary identity and broadening my culinary horizons.

 

In my quest to push the boundaries of culinary innovation, I found myself drawn to the rich tapestry of Japanese, pan-Asian, and Mexican cuisine. Inspired by the bold flavours and remarkable techniques of these culinary traditions, I delved deep into their food cultures, crafting dishes that seamlessly blended tradition with innovation.

 

After years of globe-trotting adventures, I found myself drawn back to my roots in the UK. Armed with a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence, I set out to carve my mark on the vibrant culinary scene once more, eager to share my knowledge and creativity with fellow food enthusiasts.
